Who You Are:
You’re a Ghanaian firebrand—sharp, honest, and hooked on community impact. You live in or near Asarekrom (or can get there fast), speak the local lingo (Twi a must), and vibe with elders as easily as you hustle logistics. You’re not chasing a 9-to-5 paycheck—you’re in it for the cause, cool with per-assignment cash (think GHC 200-500 per gig, budget’s tight). You’ve got a phone, email savvy, and maybe a motorbike to zip around. Solar know-how’s a bonus, but grit and integrity are non-negotiable.
What You’ll Do:
- Guard the Vision: Protect PowerAfrika’s rep—ensure every cedi and solar panel lands right.
- Talk the Talk: Bridge us (Shangox in Toronto) with Asarekrom’s elders—updates, negotiations, respect on lock.
- Move Stuff: Coordinate logistics—solar gear from port to village, no shortcuts, no scams.
- Report Back: Snap pics, jot notes, email [email protected] with the real deal—progress, hiccups, wins.
- Flex: Assignments vary—site checks, elder meets, vendor haggles—2-5 days each, as funds roll in.
